A promise made to myself....
With a bit of a push from inside and out I made a promise to myself....nothing too big...just that I should blog on a regular basis.
Summer is here, summer school has ended and I am cruising along on this period of time between June and August. Time when I can do more things for my family and myself.
Updates.
Emily and I are volunteering at All Star Equestrian Center, a riding facility for handicapped persons. We volunteer as leader and walkers. It is hot, hard work but fun and rewarding. I hope to be able to shoot publicity shots for them at their upcoming events. I am taking my camera along tonight to get them used to that part of me. (the horses need to get used to the black box in front of my face)
Aaron is working on destructing parts of MISD. He stepped on a nail yesterday and will be out of commission till Monday. OUCH!!!!!
Jared is planning on moving into Emily's room when she graduates and has his interior design plan ready to go....when she goes...we keep telling him. He loved IKEA yesterday, said it was better than the mall! He had a wish list going about 20 items long that included a new loft type bed that won't fit in his current room. He is a great kid, so full of great ideas!
Butch has been busy...painted my bedroom while I was away on a wedding shoot with Kristin. A big surprise when I returned home that Sun. He is getting a bit stir crazy though. too much time at home for him and it is not good....football is on the horizon...I can feel it stirring in him.
I am anxious to shoot....too many days without snapping the shutter and I get antsy too! Looking forward to a wedding with Joseph Mark Photography on Saturday. Second shooting with Mark last weekend was great. He was so fun to work with. I am bringing ear plugs to the next dance though...darn that music can get really loud when the speakers are piled to the ceiling. Fun though!!! my foot was tapping by the end of the night! Jackson 5 music...what a hoot! Yeah I am old....but young at heart!!!
